Insurance & Payment

We offer a variety of ways to handle payment for services with Actias Wellness. Explore our insurance, self-pay, and sliding scale options below.

In network: 

We currently accept:
  • Optum
  • Independence Blue Cross
  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Cigna
  • United Healthcare
  • Highmark

If you don't see your insurance here, we encourage you to reach out anyway! Insurance changes frequently, and so always contact us to confirm potential coverage under your specific plan.

Clients are responsible for payment of any services that insurance doesn't cover—as well as deductibles, copays, etc.—which will vary by plan.

Self-pay: 

If insurance does not cover our services, you always have the option to self-pay. This means we bill you directly for all services, and you cover 100% of the costs of services yourself.

Upon request, we can provide clients with "Super Bills" so that you may submit bills to insurance for reimbursement, should this coverage be available to you under your insurance plan. To confirm eligiblity, contact your provider.

Out of network: 

If your clinician is out of network, you may still be eligible for coverage and/or reimbursement under your insurance plan. To learn more about your out of network benefits, contact your insurance provider.

Sliding scale: 

We believe cost should not be a barrier to receiving care, and understand that due to a variety of circumstances, people may not have the ability to cover the full costs of our services.
Because of this, we offer a limited number of spaces for sliding scale clients. For these clients, we adjust the cost of our services to better match their financial situation.
